Irene Paris is an illustrator, designer and artistic director of the eponymous fashion brand Irene Paris.
Trained at two prestigious art schools, she graduated with honours from the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris (ENSAD) in 2012 and the State Academy of Art and Design in Saint Petersburg in 2006. Specialising in drawing, painting and clothing design, she has developed a unique and recognisable style.
Irène's illustrations have a strong visual energy and personality. Her vivid, expressive lines capture movement and dynamism, breathing unique life into each of her creations. Her spontaneous approach, combining rapid brushstrokes with dynamic compositions, brilliantly conveys character and emotion.
Playing with bold contrasts, Irène's designs are vibrant and colourful, with an emphasis on colour harmony.
Working with designers, brands, magazines and publishers, her main subjects are fashion, beauty, characters and book illustrations, including children's.
Mastering a range of mixed media, Irène uses watercolours, acrylics, coloured inks, pencils, pastels, charcoals and skilfully combines traditional and digital methods.
She works from her studio in Saint-Germain-des-Près, Paris.
